Instructor -Akiko Suzuki- Akiko took up classical ballet at the age of 4. Since then, she has been under the mentorship by Yuriko Kawaguchi, Hiroaki Imamura, and Naomi Hashimoto. She joined the ballet company Chambre Ouest from an early age and appeared in numerous performances. Akiko was casted as a child performer for the Japan performance of the Kirov Opera “Boris Godunov”, originally produced and performed at the Mariinsky Theatre. After graduating from the Ballet Coaching Course at Showa University of Music Junior College, she moved to San Francisco in the U.S. to further study dance. Currently Akiko teaches at Angel’s Dream Naomi Hashimoto School in Japan as an assistant teacher. She is also working as a performer for a major dance company.
